Popcorn Faith or Real Faith

This is the first message in a series on faith as we work our way through the book of Hebrews. It's a simple key to life, sitting right under our noses, but we can often find ourselves searching for answers everywhere except where we need to be looking. Jesus is calling us to a real faith, a faith that is outworked in the trenches of life. Too many rely on popcorn faith- quick answers and immediate solutions. But the faith of the Bible is a persevering faith, one that pushes through the trenches of life like the heroes of the Bible. The starting point of this faith is a recognition that we are no longer under an Old Covenant. We are in a new and superior Covenant.
